Míša is currently studying a PhD in Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She first earned a degree in phonetics and later in speech therapy and enjoys exploring the challenges of connecting research with practical application. Her primary research interests include language development in children with cochlear implants and the neurocognitive aspects of bimodal bilingualism. She is also involved in several other projects focused on language acquisition in diverse populations. In her free time, Míša enjoys fencing, and her favourite way to spend holidays is walking pilgrimage trails (not only) in Spain.
